It was yet another emotional Sunday at Mumbai’s Jalsa as megastar
Amitabh Bachchan stepped out for his weekly darshan. The superstar greeted a massive crowd of fans gathered outside his residence.
Dressed in a pristine white kurta-pyjama paired with a multi-coloured zip-up hoodie, Big B waved affectionately to the crowd. He performed his signature pranaam with folded hands and a warm smile.
A tradition rooted in love and gratitude
Every Sunday evening, the 82-year-old actor acknowledges the unwavering love of his admirers, whom he often refers to as his “Extended Family” or “Ef.”
Over the years, the gathering outside Jalsa has grown into an iconic fan event—where generations of cinephiles line up to witness the living legend.
“There is effort each moment”, Big B on staying connected
Earlier, in a 2015 blog entry, Amitabh Bachchan had candidly expressed how much his fans mean to him. “There is effort each moment on the social media and sites... effort to keep up with the Ef... effort to catch them online and respond to them so they feel they are noticed and replied to,” he wrote.
He added, “But as has been said many times by me... on the laptop this is not such an easy task... the tweets show up late or are dug so deep down that it is impossible to reach them... the FB is even worse... impossible to notice who has answered and impossible to know whether the response I gave has reached them or not.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the
Rajinikanth starrer actiober 'Vettaiyan' which received mixed reviews from the audiences.
