Dear Zindagi
' is extremely close to her heart, especially since she relates the most to her on-screen character Kaira. Now, there's another reason why the Gauri Shinde-directed movie will be dear to her.
The actress, who has been appreciated for her singing skills in the past, has turned singer again for the coming-of-age film. At the album launch of 'Dear Zindagi' on Thursday evening (November 17), Alia revealed that she has done a rendition of the 'Sadma' number 'Ae zindagi gale laga le'. The actress even went on to hum a few lines from the song.
'It is a beautiful song which matched the ethos of our film and we are extremely proud to have it as a part of our album.
Amit Trivedi and I have attempted to live up to the song and tried to set the mood for the film as the song perfectly resonates with my character in the film,' she said.
Crooned by Alia and Arijit Singh, the reprised version will tug at your heartstrings and make you want to hear it on loop.
