Watch: Alia Bhatt makes an exciting announcement on her birthday

It is Alia Bhatt’s 26th birthday today, but the presents are all for us. After a stunning ‘Kalank’ poster release this morning, followed by the star launching her mother Soni Razdan’s film ‘No Fathers In Kashmir’, she rounded the day off with one more exciting announcement.
Taking to her social media account, Alia made a special announcement which involved her childhood memories of her mother reading her bedtime stories.

“As a child I looked forward to my mom reading me bedtime stories. I would reread them and reread them. And I can't wait to bring to you guys one such story about a little girl and her dog. Coming soon,” she captioned the animated video that saw a girl sitting with her dog by the sea.
Apart from an eventful day on a professional front, Alia had a small but star-studded birthday bash last night that saw her family and closest friends in attendance.
On the work front, the star will be seen next in ‘Kalank’, post which she will begin work on Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’.
