Watch: Akshay Kumar reaches Chandigarh after being summoned by SIT in regards to Bargari Sacrilege Case

After Akshay Kumar was summoned by the Special Investigation Team set up by the Punjab Government in the sacrilege cases of 2015, the actor was seen today marking his attendance before SIT in Chandigarh.
According to reports, the SIT had given the actor an option of either appearing before them in Chandigarh or Amritsar. Akshay flew to Chandigarh today for the same.
The actor, along with former Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was summoned by the SIT to probe the Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan firing incidents and related sacrilege cases in 2015.

After the release of their official summon, Akshay released his statement lending clarification regarding the matter.
