doweshowbellyad=0; LIFE’S FUN! Konkona Sen Sharma. With her cool attitude and amazing acting skills, Konkona Sen Sharma is undoubtedly Bollywood’s Ms Congeniality.Konkona Sen Sharma likes to be perfect on the big screen. But this resolution of hers falters when it comes to dancing. “As an actor, there are parts of your job that you don’t enjoy doing.
Like many people don’t like doing love-making scenes. For me, the problem is dancing. But I had to grin and bear it as dancing is needed for both
Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle.Recalling her Aaja Nachle experience, Konkona says, “When I saw the dancers rehearsing initially, I almost died. In Laaga... I told Pradeep Sarkar not to put me in a song where I would have to dance. Thankfully, I am not supposed to be an amazing dancer in Aaja Nachle and you know how Madhuri dances. She is amazing! As Konkona says, there are few other experiences that match up to this. “There was a scene in Omkara where I had to put cow dung cakes on the wall. Vishal Bharadwaj came to me and very sweetly told me that I had to do this. My first reaction was an outright ‘No!’. Then he went ahead and showed me how to do it. After that, I just decided to go ahead with it,” she says. This actress, who has set very high standards for herself, is an easygoing person otherwise. I get along well with all my co-stars. Jayaji and I got along like a house on fire. We’re playing mother-daughter in two back-to-back films Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Sunglass. It was a delight to work with Kangna Ranaut and Madhuri Dixit too. Madhuri played games like dumb charades with us when we weren’t shooting. And she invited all of us —– the entire cast and crew —– to her son’s birthday,” smiles Konkona.
