Vivek Oberoi has recently opened up about his experiences shooting for low budget films stating that he bears most of the expenses at times to make the producers' job lighter. Talking to News 18, he spoke about how high entourage costs sometimes add "unnecessary expenses to cinema".
He condemned the current public debate on expensive entourage costs, stating that he likes to keep things simple and most of the time pays for himself for ease in spending from producers. He continues to use whatever is convenient while traveling to shoots, like an Innova, instead of demanding too luxurious options. He says he thinks ancillary costs about an actor's entourage add extraneous expense to cinema, but admits exceptions are the rule in this matter especially if specific looks are required even for female stars.
The actor further clarified he often paid for his team that's been with him over 20 years. He also said he spends the additional costs such as hotel accommodations when he upgrades, believing his compensation for the film is enough.
On the work front, Vivek was last seen in Rohit Shetty's debut web series 'Indian Police Force' starring Siddharth Malhotra in the lead.
