Vishal Mishra on his latest track 'Takda Rava'
With some chartbuster songs from the film ‘Kabir Singh’ like ‘Kaise Hua’ and ‘Pehla Pyaar’, Vishal Mishra is now back with his latest track ’Takda Rava’. Under the Jjust Music label, Vishal Mishra brings a Punjabi love track which is groovy as well. In a recent interview with Vishal, he talks to us about his new track, his gig, fans and much more.
We ask Vishal how did he come up with the idea of a gig for his fans, here’s what the musician had to say, “I always wanted to make a song which is a love song but you can groove on to it and that’s a very good space which you can play it in your cars, which you can play it in a club, which you can dedicate to your girlfriend, which you can sing for anybody that you love and still groove on to it, so that was the basic idea and then this word came into my mind ‘Tenu Takda Rava’ and he as a person in this video if you see even in the song he’s talking about everything else but he’s saying the ultimate goal is you’re the love of my life and I want to see you always wherever I am, whatever I am and whatever I am doing.

So that’s how beautiful you are that’s how much I love you that’s how much you are there in front of my eyes so even if you’re not there I can see you. It’s a basic thought of love and then when Mudassar came on board all of us thought to make a video where I am going to London and I come across this person who’s in need who’s begging for something and that I decide when I am with my girlfriend that why not do something for them and then I start singing all over the streets in London ,wherever these people who perform sing and who are a little helpless to do things. I perform for them and basically I am earning money for them and I am not doing them a favour, I am just expressing my art and my girl is with me and she is supporting me in all of this so it’s a beautiful thought and I thought this message and plus the song and I got to do some dance in it as well so all in all it was a very good experience.”
Further talking about the reaction he’s expecting from the crowd, he says, “I’ve been getting immense love for all my recent songs whether its ‘Nahi Lagda’ or ‘Sajna Ve’ or ‘Kaise Hua’ or ‘Pehle Pyaar’ all these songs have got so much love and people have accepted them so much that I can see that there is excitement in my listener’s to listen to this song of mine, so I am really excited and I hope that they also groove to it like the way I have and I always say I make music because I know that there are vulnerable people in this whole wide lonely world and if my music can feel like a companion then why not so I hope that it reaches to the same place that all my songs go to and people love it the way they love my songs.”
Posters of ‘Takda Rava’ unveil that Vishal will be featured in the video as well, we ask the musician whether he’ll be performing the song at Bandstand for his fans, Vishal replies saying, “Oh yes this is for the first time we shot if you can see the moment you’ll see the video you’ll get to know. We shot at Piccadilly circus which has never been done and it was pretty much like a public concert that I did there so we are recreating all of that here in Bandra fort and of course I’ll be singing ‘Takda Rava’ it’s been a special journey and I am really looking forward to share all of it with everybody that comes there.”
We ask Vishal he’s raised the bar after ‘Kaise Hua’ resulting in a massive fan following, is this gig a way to thank his fans, here’s what Vishal had to say, “I want to explore all the opportunities to say thank you and extend my gratitude to all my listeners. I feel this is the most apt way when you can connect with them emotionally and mentally and when you’re there with them physically so I feel all of this makes a big difference and ‘Kaise Hua’ has given me the love that I couldn’t even imagine in my dreams so I just hope every song that I make it becomes this kind of a support system for the people and I can do more many gigs like this where people can just walk in and I can meet them say thank you and extend my gratitude to them because I ultimately do it for the people who listen to my music and their love is what drives me to make music and so they are the ultimate and any opportunity to say thank you to them is not enough so yes I am really looking forward to meet my fans and listeners at Bandra fort.”
