Virat shined once again in the Champions Trophy semifinal against Australia, scoring a crucial 84 off 98 balls to lead India to victory by four wickets. As always, he was ecstatic after the win—hugging Rohit Sharma, celebrating animatedly, and then rushing to the fence to find Anushka Sharma.

This joint celebration comes just days after the actress was trolled online over Virat's underperformance at a match. The actress was subjected to some hurtful social media posts that blamed her for her husband's performance on the cricket field.

With this win, India has reached the Champions Trophy 2025 final, marking their third consecutive appearance. They won in 2013 but fell short against Pakistan in 2017.
