Virat Kohli opens up on his quiet 36th birthday with the kids and Anushka Sharma, 'And basically, the birthday was for my daughter...'

Virat Kohli, who turned a year older on November 5, recently opened up on his quiet birthday in the city. At an event he graced after that, when asked if he has grown wiser, he said, “Wiser toh pata nahi (I don’t know about wiser), older for sure.”


He added, “But probably the most chilled out birthday I have had in all these years just with Anushka and our two kids at home. Just very relaxed.” He also added that the birthday was mainly for his daughter Vamika, saying, “And basically, the birthday was for my daughter, it happens so when you have kids.”

Recently Virat and Anushka enjoyed a relaxed breakfast date at a popular dosa shop in the city.

The couple, who love indulging in South Indian delicacies, tried out the viral benne dosa. Going by the photos later posted online, the couple seemed to have had a wonderful time as they put on their best smiles for the camera and posed with the restaurant staff.

Both dressed in casual attire, with caps on their heads, Virat was seen holding Anushka in front of him as they posed with the team.

A viral tweet indicates that Virat gave a fan an autographed cap.

The couple has been balancing their personal and professional commitments by taking turns visiting India. Recently, Anushka was seen in Mumbai while traveling in her car. She was photographed wearing a floral top, sitting inside her car.
