Actress Swara Bhasker announced her registered marriage with political activist Fahad Ahmad on February 17 and since then, pictures from the big day have been making their way onto social media platforms.
The latest picture to go viral is an Instagram story that the actress posted of her 'filmy' wedding night. In a series of now-deleted Instagram stories, Swara shared a glimpse of her bedroom and bed posts adorned in flowers. Revealing the person who came up with the idea of decorating the room for her wedding night, Swara wrote, "Mom making sure I have a filmy Suhaag Raat!"
Home decor stylist Priyanka Yadav, also reportedly shared the click, but deleted it later.
Swara and Fahad met at a protest site in January 2020. After a couple of years of dating, they decided to get hitched and registered their wedding in court under the Special Marriage Act.
The actress announced her wedding in a post that read, "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad. It's chaotic but it's yours."
She added, "So blessed to be supported and cheered by the love of family and friends like family! Wore my mother’s sari & her jewellery.. made @FahadZirarAhmad wear colour and we registered under the #SpecialMarriageAct Now to prep for shehnaii-wala shaadi."
Going by the actress' latest posts, wedding prep is in full swing as she gets ready to host a grand celebration for her family and friends.
