Vipul Shah on the title of his upcoming film ‘Namaste England’

Filmmaker Vipul Shah’s upcoming film is titled ‘Namaste England’ and stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Quiz the filmmaker why three of his films have either London or England as part of the title and the director says, “When we started writing this story, we realised that the narrative will have to travel from Punjab to England. Automatically, the film is going into a world that’s similar to Namastey London (2007).That’s why we decided to call the film Namaste England. We tried writing it as Namaste Canada. But, when I went to Canada, I couldn’t find my film there. I found the world of my story in London. Both Punjab and London have been very special for me. In fact the first film in the Commando series was also set in Punjab and then traveled to Manali. Also, I love shooting in London and Punjab.”
