The latest addition to this trend is the clamor for a spin-off featuring Shah Rukh Khan's memorable character 'Vikram Rathore' from 'Jawan.' Vikram Rathore aka daddy Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee's 'Jawan' has been receiving a lot of love and appreciation from his fans who have gone gaga over him. So much so that the director has now hinted at a possible spin-off of the character some day. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee said that he would like to make a spin-off of Vikram Rathore as he considers him a hero. The character of Vikram was paired opposite Deepika Padukone in the movie and they together had a small backstory. It would be really interesting to watch SRK and Deepika sizzle on screen once again in the much-anticipated spin-off.

Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Mohan Bhargav aka Hanumanastra in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'. After the small cameo garnered a lot of love from the audience who was left asking for more, Ayan revealed in an interview with Indian Express that they were shooting for SRK's sequence in the film in 2019. As they were shooting, they discovered the personality of the scientist and even felt like they should do a story on the scientist's origin. So the director admitted that they are even thinking about a spin-off to that character.

Paresh Rawal's iconic character Babu Rao is undoubtedly one of the most loved and popular characters we have in Bollywood. His looks and dialogues from the 'Hera Pheri' series have become quite popular amongst the fans over the years. So a demand for a standalone film based on the character is just. While 'Hera Pheri' series revolve around Babu Rao, Raju (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam (Suniel Shetty), it would be interesting to see the background story and origin of just Babu Rao character before he met his partners in crime, Raju and Shyam.

Hrithik Roshan aced the character of 'Vedha' in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, 'Vikram Vedha', opposite Saif Ali Khan. So much so that fans have started demanding a spin-off of his character. The atcor impressed one and all with his fierce looks and performance in the film. Talking about his character in the film, Hrithik Roshan had also said, “I love the character Vedha, I had a lot of fun playing him. Maybe we can do a spin-off of just Vedha. Take that guy (character) and make a film.”

Fans have been waiting for the third instalment of the popular 'Munna Bhai' series for a very long time now. However, reports are rife that the third part might never happen owing to a fallout between Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. However, what could also provide relief to fans is also a possible spin-off of Arshad Warsi's Circuit character from the film. His background story of how he met Munna Bhai aka Sanjay Dutt would be really interesting, don't you think?
