Vijender Singh is Aamir's fan

Boxer Vijender Singh was spotted in Delhi recently sporting a bearded look. An excited Vijender said, “I’m always trying to do something new, inside the ring or out of it. I’m experimenting with the bearded look for the first time.”
So what made him keep a beard? “I’m a big Aamir Khan fan, and I got inspired by his new bearded look. At first I was a bit conscious, but later, when people started complimenting me, I thought, why not keep it for a few days?” said he, adding, “The funniest was when I was in Mumbai and people didn’t recognise me.They stared at me for a while before coming up to me and asking, ‘Are you Vijender, the boxer?’”
So, any Bollywood dreams? “I might do a special appearance for Sourav Ganguly’s reality show, “Dadagiri”. And fans might see some real action on the big screen too. I get a lot of movie offers, but I’m concentrating on my training right now since no dates are finalised.”
Talking about Bollywood, Vijender spoke about meeting Aamir during the screening of “Dhobi Ghat”. “I really enjoyed his company. He’s also invited me for Imran and Avantika’s reception in Mumbai next month, and I will be going for it.”
