is currently shooting for the movie 'Hurdang'. He will be seen playing Loha Singh in the film that was being shot in Prayagraj recently. The college love story also features Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Kaushal (Vicky Kaushal’s brother). The film is based in the '90s, and to ensure that the era reflects perfectly on the big screen Vijay, and director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt worked very hard. The actor along with designer Sheetal Sharma spent many weeks narrowing down the look that they felt was right for his character.

In an interview, Vijay said that he and the designer arrived at the final look after many trials. They referred to many photos from the late '80s and early '90s, which the team of the film had gathered. Vijay will be seen wearing his hair long, which was the popular style back then. He has also picked tinted sunglasses, which were sported by many actors in that era. Loha Singh’s main traits are power and leadership, and Vijay wanted to make sure that those reflect in the way the character is styled.
