Actress Kangana Ranaut has strongly condemned the terror attack in Vienna, Austria.
Taking to her official Twitter handle, the actress called for a world free of terrorism. Reacting to a video of gunmen firing at innocent civilians, the actress said in a tweet, “We need to make this world free of radical Islamic terrorism #Vienna.”

According to reports, the Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said that the shooting in central Vienna near a major synagogue appeared to be a terrorist attack.

"It appears to be a terror attack" with several people injured and several attackers involved, Nehammer told public broadcaster ORF.
Several people were killed in the shooting and many others injured, the city's police confirmed.
"There is a larger police operation going on in the 1st district of Vienna (Inner City area). Officers are on-site and check the situation. We keep you posted on the matter", the Vienna police department wrote on Twitter.

According to local media reports, about 50 shots were fired in the street near the synagogue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condemned the terror attack and asserted that India stands with Austria during this tragic time.
"Deeply shocked and saddened by the dastardly terror attacks in Vienna," PM Modi tweeted.
"India stands with Austria during this tragic time. My thoughts are with the victims and their families," he said.
