Vidyut Jammwal who’s known to be Bollywood’s super-cool action hero and fitness enthusiast has now been named among the “top martial artists in the world” by
Google and his fans are already celebrating the huge achievement.
The elite list sees Vidyut alongside the world’s popular figures like
Jet Li,
Johnny Tri Nguyen, Stevan Seagal,
Donnie Yen and
Tony Jaa to name a few. Sharing the image of the same,
Jammwal
took to his Instagram handle and wrote: “Jai Hind.”
The popular Bollywood actor is a trained martial artiste and has learned almost all the tricks of kalaripayattu since the age of three. He had once said that his vision is to make indigenous martial art more popular in Indian cinema.
Vidyut had earlier explained although he doesn’t have a vision yet on how it can be materialized, he dreams one day people will talk about kalaripayattu, the martial art in Indian cinema an o since it’s an original Indian martial art.
On the work front, the Bollywood actor completed 10 years in the film industry earlier in April this year. He made his acting debut with the 2011 Telugu film ‘Sakthi’. His Bollywood journey started with ‘Force’ in the same year. In almost all his films like ‘Commando’, ‘Junglee’ and Khuda Haafiz’, Vidyut Jammwal has preferred to perform the stunts by himself.
