Vidya Balan is all set to shoot for her next biopic story based on
Shakuntala Devi
. We are sure many biopics would have come the actress’ way but looks like this one caught her eye. The film is helmed by
Anu Menon who has earlier directed film London Paris New York.
When the internet was surprised to see Vidya’s look from the film which went viral, it looked quite different from her other roles. Having a Bob haircut and wearing a simple cotton saree made her look no less than Shakuntala Devi and actress being South Indian adds up well to her character. Vidya in a recent interview with BT shared that how she is choosing her films, “I am starting the biopic on Shakuntala Devi immediately after Mission Mangal releases. I want to work at my pace.”
To shed more light over Shakuntala Devi, she was a mathematician who’s also known as ‘Human computer.’ She had the perfect knack for numbers and mathematical solutions. The way she was swift with her answers over math, she was given the name of
human computer
and Vidya seems to be super excited to get into her shoe for the reel life.
