Vidya Balan, Vidya Malvade: The Namesake

Anyone who asks ‘what’s in a name’ will need to be ready to face the wrath of the otherwise sweet and chirpy Vidya Malvade. The lady is thoroughly fed up of her name always being mixed up with that of Vidya Balan. Recently at an outdoor shoot she had been on the recieving end of her hubby’s love, who had been sending her flowers. This had become a daily ritual.
So Vidya was rather rattled when one of the delivery guys went up to her room but refused to part with the bouquet as he decided that this delivery was for Vidya Balan and not Vidya Malvade! All he kept saying was — Madam aap to Chak De ki heroine ho, Vidya nahi (madam you’re the heroine of Chak De, not Vidya)...It took a bit of stern talking-to that finally made the delivery boy realise that this lady was Vidya too.
