Vidya Balan to shoot for ‘Sherni’ post monsoon?

Vidya Balan had started shooting for her film ‘Sherni’ on World Wildlife Day in March, however with the lockdown being imposed the shoot was suspended. And now as Bollywood slowly returns to work, it seems like Vidya Bala starrer ‘Sherni’ will still take time to go on floors. A source quoted by a news portal stated that since ‘Sherni’ has to be shot in real locations, including the forests of Madhya Pradesh, the shoot will only take place once the rains are over.

‘Sherni’ is directed by Amit Masurkar and will feature Vidya in the role of a forest officer, who is keen to chalk out a solution to the man-animal conflict in the forest.

Always eager to experiment with fresh genres and challenging roles, Vidya Balan had opened up about her love for subjects and characters in an interview with Bombay Times. Vidya had shared, "I get bored very easily. I have this need to continuously do different things and explore subjects and characters that have not been tapped, yet. I try to interpret them my way. That keeps the actor in me excited and raring to go at all times.”
