Vidya Balan steals the Filmfare Awards show

It was that time of the year again. The film fraternity came together for what Abhishek Bachchan aptly called a 'bigger match' than the ongoing tennis tournament in Australia on his social networking page.
Stars dazzled the red carpet as they walked in for the evening that is considered even to this date to be the report card for the Hindi cinema industry - the Filmfare Awards.
While Vidya Balan drew the maximum cheers and walked away with the Best Dialogue award for her ‘entertainment, entertainment, entertainment’ piece from The Dirty Picture, Rockstar swept the music category.
The red carpet, howeer, as always, was where the paparazzi looked for 'stories'. And the stars did not disappoint. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the Excel Entertainment 'buoys' walked in one after the other. And avoided each other like the plague. Easing the tension on the red carpet was Bappi Lahiri who sang Ooh La La loudly. The life size standees of the three superheroes of Bollywood, namely RA.One, Krrish and Rajinikanth also helped ease the strain.
Deepika Padukone arrived alone. In fact, Ms Dippy, who had her hair tied in a top bun did not shy away from flaunting her RK tattoo.
AR Rahman mentioned on the red carpet that he had to miss a Indo-German concert to attend the function. Imtiaz Ali arrived with his wife. Karan Johar, who hosted a small segment of the awards, mentioned on the red carpet that he was penniless. That's of course because he wasn't carrying his wallet. And then the awards began…
