Vidya Balan reveals male actors still reluctant to share screen space with her

Acclaimed actress Vidya Balan recently spoke candidly about her experiences with male actors who are reluctant to star opposite her.

In a conversation with The Indian Express, Vidya Balan revealed that even today, male stars are hesitant to share screen space in her films or any female-led projects, citing their discomfort with women taking center stage.


Vidya Balan stated that she believes it's the male actors' loss, as the female-led films she stars in tend to be more exciting and better quality than the formulaic movies most male stars appear in. Despite facing reluctance from male co-stars, she takes it in stride, acknowledging that if they feel threatened, there is little she can do about it.

As Vidya Balan prepares for her upcoming film, Do Aur Do Pyaar, she is set to showcase her talent once again in a story that celebrates love, laughter, and the intricacies of modern relationships.
