In an interview with Indian Express, Vidya stated Nepotism or no nepotism, I am here. (Kissi ki baap ki industry nahi hai, nahi toh har baap ka beta, har baap ki beti successful hote). The industry does not belong to anybody’s father, otherwise, all the star kids would have been successful today.

Elaborating further, Vidya added that she had been a lone ranger and that she had been content pursuing her own interests. She also expressed that there were moments when she thought having the support of specific individuals might have led to kinder treatment during certain periods. However, she believes that, when it comes to opportunities, no one has been able to deprive her of what she deserves.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited trailer of 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', was released on social media.
