Vidya Balan fans stalled 'Kahaani 2' shoot

Vidya Balan, who has time and again professed her love for Bengal, enjoys immense popularity in the state. So much so, it hindered the shoot of her upcoming film, 'Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh'.
When the movie, presented by Jayantilal Gada (PEN), was being filmed in Kalimpong, a hill station near Kolkata, huge crowds would turn up for a dekko of the actress. Once, the shoot had to be stalled for four hours after fans refused to leave without seeing Vidya.Director Sujoy Ghosh tried to pacify the crowd, but in vain. Eventually, the shoot was completed amidst high security.
Sujoy recalls, 'For a moment, I thought we won't be able to shoot ' the crowd went hysterical. I had not expected a small town like Kalimpong to react the way they did on seeing Vidya.'
'Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh', produced by Kushal Kantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada and Sujoy Ghosh, releases on December 2.
