Vicky Kaushal's latest picture has a Bengali connection, leaves fans gushing for more

Vicky Kaushal's next, Govinda Naam Mera has been creating a lot of buzz on social media. The movie, touted as a mad comedy is the story of a common man named Govinda who is going through some tough times as a junior background dancer. He seems to be in a lot of debt and his wife is having an affair. To make matters worse, there seems to be a murder that has taken place, further landing him in a soup.

The lead actors of the movie, that co-stars Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar have been busy promoting the flick at different venues.Earlier today, Vicky Kaushal shared an airplane selfie, that indicated that the actor is flying to the city of joy, Kolkata. Even though it was not clear whether the "Uri" actor is on a promotional tour or shooting for a new movie there, he captioned the pic as “Kemon achen?" which translates into how are you. Dressed in a casual jumper with sunglasses, the actor seemed excited about his next stop. On seeing his post, many fans replied to him in Bengali, asking him about his plans in Kolkata.

Earlier, Vicky shared the trailer of Govinda Naam Mera, saying that it is going to be a fun ride. He wrote, " Kahaani ek, twists aur turns anek! Mere hi life mein kyun hai itne saare problems? A murder, some mystery, lots of thrill and masala guaranteed. #GovindaNaamMera TRAILER OUT NOW!🍿".

The movie, directed by Shashank Khaitan will release on December 16 on Disney+ Hotstar.
