Recently, he returned to Mumbai with Ranbir Kapoor and was greeted with an outpouring of affection at the airport. He then posed for a picture with the admirer. For his travel, the actor kept it casual in a grey hoodie, trousers and shoes.

Vicky was last seen in 'Chhaava', in which he played Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is an epic historical action drama that explores the life of the Maratha ruler and his bravery in defending his faith and country. It featured a strong cast including Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh and Ashutosh Rana. The period drama was released in cinemas on February 14 this year.

The film went on to perform strongly at the box office. As per Sacnilk, 'Chhaava' collected overRs 600 crore net in India, becoming one of the biggest hits of the year.
