Veer Savarkar release postponed till Nov 30

mumbai: the much-awaited release of the film veer savarkar on the life and works of the radical hindu leader, has been postponed till november 30, film makers said here on saturday. a spokesman of the savarkar darshan partishthan said the decision to postpone the premier show has been taken "due to technical reasons." "we are not worried about the distribution part of it.people are cooperating in a large way and the film is expected to do well at box office," he said. earlier, the mega movie, billed as first cinematic venture by his followers, was scheduled to be released on november 16. the film, directed by ved rahi, seeks to dwell on the "touching events" of savarkar's chequered life including his heated arguments with mahatma gandhi.
