Varun Dhawan urges for strong production support amidst competition in the industry

The upcoming Christmas movie 'Baby John' is creating excitement with its trailer, songs, and action scenes. Fans and industry experts are buzzing about it, and early footage has received positive feedback from exhibitors and distributors.

Varun emphasised the need for strong production support to release films in today's competitive environment. He noted that with many larger-than-life movies being produced, securing backing is crucial, especially since only about 55 Hindi films are set to release. He called for support from the media to navigate these challenges.

The actor discussed the unique action sequences in the upcoming film 'Baby John', stating, "Bauth different tha, jis tarike ka stunt Baby John mei humlog ne kiya woh bauth alag tha humlog jo normal karte hai baaki films mei uske comparison mai." He emphasised that the stunts in the movie are distinct from those typically seen in other films.

'Baby John' is set to release on December 25, 2024. Directed by Kalees, this action thriller is an adaptation of the Tamil film 'Theri' and features Varun in the lead role as DCP Satya Verma, a single father who faces off against a menacing criminal played by Jackie Shroff.

The trailer showcases intense action sequences and emotional moments, highlighting Varun's character's determination to protect his daughter, Khushi. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh in her Hindi debut, Wamiqa Gabbi, and includes a cameo by Salman Khan.
