Varun Dhawan sports new look for Border 2

Varun Dhawan is gearing up for an exciting new chapter, as he prepares for Border 2, the sequel to the iconic 1997 blockbuster Border, that starred Sunny Deol. A major addition to the star-studded franchise, Varun was spotted this morning at the airport, leaving the city to join the film's shoot. The movie, which went on floors a few days ago, marks a significant milestone for the actor in 2025.



Donning a fresh look, Varun was seen sporting a mustache complemented by a light stubble. His casual yet stylish outfit, included blue denim jeans paired with a classic white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. Completing the look with sunglasses, he exuded charm and confidence as he prepared to dive into his new role.

The year 2025 is crucial for Varun Dhawan, with several high-profile projects lined up. Apart from Border 2, he has films like Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor, directed by Shashank Khaitan, and No Entry 2 with Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh, directed by Anees Bazmee in the pipeline. Following the underwhelming performance of his last release, Baby John, the actor is under pressure to deliver a big hit to reaffirm his standing in the industry.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 promises to be a grand cinematic spectacle. With Varun joining the ensemble cast, expectations are soaring for the film to live up to the legacy of its predecessor. The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta, director of the first installment.

Border was based on 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, which was also called Battle of Longewala.
