The soon-to-be star wife recently revealed to a magazine how they had known each other since school to their mid-20s and they eventually realised that they were more than just good friends. Natasha had revealed that marriage is definitely on the cards, but it is not happening right now. Varun and Natasha have been in love for years and before the couple started making headlines for their wedding, there were talks about a secret engagement too. A source had informed ETimes, “Varun and Natasha exchanged rings and got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in 2018. It was an extremely private ceremony with only members of the family present on the occasion. Varun is crazy about Natasha and given the fact that he’s one of the biggest stars in the business the wedding will be a high profile event.”

Varun and Natasha are keeping all details about their wedding under wraps but a source had informed ETimes that the couple is planning a lavish wedding at an international destination. Varun and Natasha are planning a big fat Bollywood style wedding at an exotic destination. With the consent of the bride and groom, the families have decided on two destinations - Bali and Phuket. Varun and Natasha want a true-blue Punjabi wedding and the beach destination will add glamour to their dreamy nuptials. Once they pin the location, the families will soon start working on the logistics for the 2020 wedding,” revealed the source.

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding was also rumoured to take place in either Goa or Jodhpur. The love birds were rumoured to tie the knot in Goa, in the presence of close friends, family and industry colleagues too. While another reported suggested that the couple is going for a royal wedding in Jodhpur and not a sea-side ceremony. An entertainment report stated that Varun and Natasha will have a three-day long traditional Hindu wedding in Rajasthan, which will include several pre-wedding rituals too.

From Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput to Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Bollywood celebrities have set the trend of hosting lavish receptions in the city. The couple’s destination wedding will reportedly be attended by a select few while the reception will see who’s who of Bollywood making an appearance.

While Varun has refrained from spilling any details about his wedding with Natasha, his father, filmmaker David Dhawan has often been thronged with questions about it. While speaking to a news portal, the Bollywood filmmaker had stated that Varun is busy shooting for Remo D’Souza’s film after which he will begin work on ‘Coolie No 1’, hence there would be no wedding this year. However the filmmaker had confirmed that if the wedding has to happen, it will take place in 2020.
