Varanasi is every filmmaker’s delight to capture on camera: Ashwini Chaudhary

Varanasi is all set to appear on celluloid again as National Award - winner director Ashwini Chaudhary, known for films like 'Dhoop', 'Jodi Breakers' and TV show '

', is shooting for his film Setters in the city. The film, a high-paced thriller, has an ensemble cast of Aftab Shivdasani, Shreyas Talpade, Vijay Raaz, Pavan Malhotra, Sonnalli Seygall and Ishita Dutta among others.
The shooting of the film, that kickstarted from a hotel in Cantonment area, has now moved into the by lanes of the city.
"A major part of the film will be canned in Varanasi, as we have a nearly 20-day schedule, during which we will be capturing various parts of the city," says the director, who also shot the show 'Chakravyuh' here.

"Apart from the demand of the script, what brought us here are the stunning visuals that Banaras provides. Varanasi is one of most beautiful cities that comes out really well on the screen. It is every filmmakers delight to capture it on camera," says Ashwini.
All praise for the people of Varanasi, the director says, "It is a very shooting friendly city as the people are very friendly and cooperative. Moreover there are no hassles in getting permission to shoot here."

With a long spell of shooting happening, the cast and crew celebrated Diwali in the city. "We planned a shot on the ghats on Diwali and also plan to capture the Chhath Puja, that falls after that. Since there will be no break on the festival, we had a party on Diwali," says Ashwini.
