UP is living up to its image of being one of the most film-friendly states in the country. Not just by facilitating
film
shootings, the
state
is also wooing filmmakers by making their movies
tax-free
in UP. The latest in the list of films to be made tax-free in the state in 2016 is '
Nil Battey Sannata
' starring Swara Bhaskar.

We have made the film tax free in UP (sic).' Vishal Kapoor, member Film Bandhu adds,
'The idea is to make such good films accessible to people across the state.' Meanwhile, Salman Khan finished shooting portions of his film 'Sultan' in Morna, district Muzaffarnagar on Thursday.
And even before the shoot had begun in UP, Madan Chauhan, minister for entertainment tax declared the film tax-free in UP! He was quoted as saying, 'Since the shooting of 'Sultan' will be taking place in Muzaffarnagar, it will be made tax-free in the state. This way other filmmakers will also be motivated to shoot their films in Uttar Pradesh.'
