On Sunday, the actress announced on Instagram that her mother has been hospitalised. She shared a heartfelt photo featuring her mother, Meera Rautela, lying in a hospital bed with tubes attached to her arm. The image captures Urvashi embracing her mother closely, both holding the national flag.



While sharing the photo, she captioned, “PL PRAY FOR MY MOTHER #MeeraRautela”.

The actress did not share details about her mother's condition or when she was discharged from the hospital. Her followers left supportive comments, wishing for her mother's quick recovery.

Urvashi Rautela was recently featured in the film 'Daaku Maharaaj', which also stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol. The movie, directed by Bobby Kolli, has received some backlash regarding Urvashi's appearance, especially in the song 'Dabidi Dibidi'. The cast includes Shraddha Srinath, Prakash Raj, and others in key roles, with music composed by S. Thaman. In this action film, Nandamuri Balakrishna plays a dacoit known as 'Daaku Maharaaj,' while Bobby Deol takes on the role of the villain who tortures people.

Rautela recently attracted attention for her controversial remarks about the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, which resulted in significant criticism. In her attempt to condemn the incident, she shifted the focus to her diamond jewelry, leading many to view her comments as tone-deaf given the seriousness of the situation. An apology was issued by her but was later deleted, which only intensified the backlash.
