She plays Puro whose life takes a sudden turn shortly before the Partition. <br /><br />Directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="" class="text1">Pinjar </span>is based on Amrita Pritam''s novel by the same name. It''s a look at the plight of women, often the worst victims of war and communal violence.
