Vicky Kaushal is all set to impress the audience with his upcoming film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. The actor recently shared a video on his Instagram handle to give his fans a glimpse of how he prepped for his role in the film.

In the video, Vicky can be seen prepping up for his character with 20 other wonderful actors. The actor also expressed his gratitude to his co-actors, coaches and trainers. He captioned it as, ‘A glimpse into my prep for URI. Not just me... me, along with a team of 20 other wonderful actors who gave their everything to the film. Big shout out to all my coactors, trainers and coaches... @rakeshudiyar ,Mangesh, @amol_kyatam @vickyarora @karannagari_mma #AtulMongia, ‘The Sikh Regiment’ @indianarmy.adgpi and the captain of the ship @adityadharfilms for giving me the most stimulating time as an artist. #URITheSurgicalStrike releases on 11thJan2019’



In another video, Vicky shared how he gained 15 kgs of muscle weight for his role. He wrote, "Throwback to those late night training sessions for #UriTheSurgicalStrike ... gaining 15kgs of muscle weight wasn’t an easy task for this ectomorph... a big shout out to my dear ‘jallaad’ trainer @rakeshudiyar and his team @amol_kyatam and Mangesh for constantly making me sweat, scream and cry so that I could reach my goals. #HowIsTheJosh."

An Aditya Dhar directorial, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Kriti Kulhari and Mohit Raina. It is slated to hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.
