Udita Goswami is busy reading these days. But it’s not the scripts we’re talking about. Keen to pursue her dream of becoming a graduate, the actress has enrolled in a correspondence course from the university for her final year and is busy juggling studies with films. “It was impossible to attend college regularly, so now I’m studying commerce through correspondence.
I do go for evening classes though,” she says as she rushes off for a class test. Udita, who made her debut with Paap at the young age of 16, regrets having missed out on her college early on. “I think education is a must for any individual and when I got an opportunity to complete my studies, I jumped at it. I wouldn’t want my kids to say that their mom’s not even a graduate,” she adds. In fact, the actress is so keen on not missing out on the fun of studying in a college, that she has also enrolled herself at the New York Film Institute for the next session. “I am very excited about that. I have always wanted to feel what it’s like being a normal regular student. That’s the way I can do it,” reveals Udita.
