Model-turned actor Anuraag Malhan, who debuted on TV with a show 'Sethji', feels there is much to explore when it comes to good content and interesting subjects in showbiz. The actor has been deeply affected by the subject of misuse of dowry act 498A since it is much prevalent in the small towns and villages. A few months back, Anuraag turned producer with his partner jewellery designer-turned-producer Vandana Mordani. Anuraag is now focussing on making films and TV shows that touch upon such interesting subjects. Basically, someone who belongs to a Navy background, Anuraag underwent theatre training for two years in Delhi from Mask theatre and has attended several workshops under Alok Ulfat and Neeraj Kabi. He has played cricket for seven years for state Level and North Zone India under BCCI. He is also an advanced level scuba diver and he practices Muay Thai and martial arts. He says, "Martial arts and keeping fit is a passion and it feels great when you undergo strict fitness regimes. I love sports and enjoy exploring all kinds of sports across the world."

Anuraag feels he has a long way to go in making films and being an actor. He says, "I feel it is important to do things which you enjoy and are passionate about. It is also important that people know what kind of films you make. Awareness and information about your product is important too. I want to act in subjects that will challenge me and prod me to work hard for them."
