‘Tu Yaa Main’ trailer out: Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav reveal why they signed Aanand L Rai film

The upcoming film ‘Tu Yaa Main’, starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav, has finally dropped its much-awaited trailer. The film is set to hit theatres on February 13, 2026. Recently, at the trailer launch event, both lead actors opened up about what made them say yes to this project.

Why did Shanaya Kapoor say yes to 'Tu Yaa Main'?

Shanaya Kapoor shared that her biggest reason was the faith producer Aanand L Rai showed in her. She spoke warmly about how his support helped her believe in herself. Shanaya said, “After I met Aanand sir, he had this belief in me, and he saw this potential in me, for which I am forever grateful. He stood by me through everything, I am here because of that.”




Kapoor also loved how the script offered everything in one package. For her, it wasn’t just one genre. It was a full rollercoaster. Shanaya added, “And of course when I read the script, mujhe laga ki sab kuch hai isme. There is love, horror, thriller, dance, and comedy, so what is missing?"

Why did Adarsh Gourav sign the film?

Adarsh Gourav also shared his reasons with equal enthusiasm. He said the collaboration itself grabbed his attention first. He found the pairing of director Bejoy Nambiar and producer Aanand L Rai unexpected but exciting. Adarsh explained, “There were a number of reasons that attracted me to this screenplay. Number one, Bejoy sir and Aanand sir coming together to make this film which itself is an unlikely combination because they have very unique styles of their own.”

The actor also praised the writing and how quickly the script pulled him in. Adarsh added, “So when I read the script which was written by Abhishek which was so brilliant, I just instantly responded to it. We had a lot of fun filming it."

What does the 'Tu Yaa Main' trailer show?

The trailer introduces Shanaya as Avani Shah, known as ‘Miss Vanity’. Adarsh appears as Maruti Kadam, also called ‘AF’, a confident content creator from Nalasopara. What starts as fun collaborations soon turns into a nightmare. The duo end up trapped in a pool, staring danger in the face, with a bloodthirsty crocodile closing in.



Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, ‘Tu Yaa Main’ is backed by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma along with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali.
