Tripta Parashar turns angry young woman

In her next, Arup Dutta’s Bloody Isshq, model-turned-actor Tripta Parashar has performed all the stunts herself. Considering the fact that she is a judo champion and a national-level kabaddi player — apart from being an accomplished Kathak dancer — Tripta didn’t find shooting for the scenes very tough.
She says, “The crew used to call me ‘Lady Amitabh Bachchan’. My role is that of an angry young woman, who is also a business tycoon.The circumstances are against her, but she manages to stand tall. The action scenes, though difficult, have been challenging. For example, there was a scene where I had to jump from a speeding car on to a moving bike. I got badly injured, but enjoyed every moment and I am thankful to my producer.”
During another scene, which was shot in a burning house, Tripta fainted. “I did not want to mar the scene and ended up inhaling excessive smoke. That caused nausea and made me feel dizzy,” she says.
Besides Bloody Ishq, Tripta is kicked about working with Umesh Shukla of OMG Oh My God! fame. “I also have two other projects in the pipeline,” says the actress, who has worked with directors like Ketan Mehta and Priyadarshan.
