A source says that Mannan had gone to play Holi and he returned home sometime in the afternoon. Mannan was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, but he did not survive.

A visit to Oberoi Springs by this journalist revealed that the unfortunate incident happened a few minutes after 5 pm.

When contacted, Girish Malik’s partner in Torbaaz, Puneet Singh confirmed the sad news. “ Mr. Malik’s son has passed away but I cannot say anything at the moment about what exactly happened. We are not in a state to speak,” he concluded.
