This Mother's Day, Chennai Times caught up with Khushboo and spoke about the joys of motherhood and her special relationship with her two daughters Avanthika and Ananditha.
The joy of sharing
Khushboo finds joy in everything she does with her daughters.According to her, every day is celebration at home. ���Be it playing games with them, drawing cartoons, or even making breakfast, it is a joint affair,��� she says. On holidays, you can spot the family at the FunCity at Citi Centre, which is their favourite hangout. Her dedication is evident from the fact that she mostly refuses to take up shooting that would keep her away from her little ones.
No pressure
Khushboo feels very strongly about children following their dreams. ���Parents should never thrust their views on children. By no means should a mother take away the innocence from her kids. Let children follow their dreams,��� she adds. Avanthika, the elder of the sibling, dreams of becoming an astronaut, and mom Kushboo is only too happy to encourage her.
To mommy dearest
On Mother's Day, Ananditha and Avanthika are glad that mama is taking them to the film Bhootnath. When asked about this special day, the children could not help blushing. They'd made a small card to wish their mom and it was a moment of ecstasy when both the girls presented their greetings with loads of kisses ��� ���Happy Mother's Day, mommy!���
