Tina Ahuja recalls dad Govinda being very particular about her figure and look during her teenage years: 'He used to tell me, lose your weight...'

Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, once shared that her father wasn’t around much during her childhood. Recently, she talked about how her father was very strict about her weight and appearance when she was a teenager.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Tina shared that she struggled with excessive weight due to health issues and recalled how her father, Govinda, was particular about her figure during her teenage years. She remembered gaining weight during a trip to Switzerland and how her father emphasised the importance of maintaining appearance and fitness.




She mentioned that she often discussed her weight gain with her father, who guided her to take small, consistent steps toward weight loss. She previously revealed that a severe nerve spasm caused by an accident led to significant weight gain. Tina made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Second Hand Husband, co-starring Gippy Grewal and Dharmendra, but has not appeared in any projects since.



Govinda appeared on Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he reconciled with his nephew Krushna Abhishek, ending their seven-year feud. The reunion was celebrated with cheers from the audience. Govinda was joined by his contemporaries, Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor, making the episode even more special.
