Tillotama Shome gets emotional as she reads a book on her 'Qissa' co-star Irrfan Khan; says, 'I was so afraid of reading it'

Actress Tillotama Shome has penned an emotional note after reading the book 'Dialogues With The Wind' written by Anup Singh on the memories of the late actor Irrfan Khan. Tillotama featured with Irrfan in the critically acclaimed film 'Qissa' which was a partition drama. In the film, Irrfan was seen bringing up his daughter (played by Tillotama), as a son.
In her post, the actress wrote that she was 'afraid of reading' the book. Tillotama wrote, "The book will hold you tight in a warm embrace, even when things get harsh and ragged. I was so afraid of reading this and put it off to when I feel stronger...BUT, I felt stronger after reading the first few pages. I felt like living beautifully, so I can die beautifully. I will keep going back to these pages, for years to come."
She also thanked her two 'Pappajis for creating cosmic combustions' - Irrfan Khan, her screen "Pappaji," and Anup Singh, behind the camera. "Thank you to both my Pappaji's for creating cosmic combustions. Thank you Anup for being able to turn your grief into something so life affirming. Irrfan, I see you often as birds and the dialogue will continue," she concluded. Have a look:

Irrfan Khan passed away in 2020 after battling cancer. He was last seen in 'Angrezi Medium' with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal.
