Tiger Shroff took to exploring a new talent as an artiste, which is singing. The fruits of which are reaping now in his upcoming release
Heropanti 2
. The film's new song
Miss Hairan
was unveiled today and it marks Tiger's debut as a singer for a Bollywood film. Earlier the actor has done vocals for a single.
Talking about his interest in singing, Tiger said, "I have been a bathroom singer. So, during the lockdown I thought why not take it up seriously. Singing is definitely a mood lifter. Michael Jackson has been my idol and my goal is to perform on stage, sing and dance on my songs."
Adding further about his singing lessons, he says, "I was taking these classes form Suzanne D'Mello over video calls. It all started after people cheered for me after I put up a singing video on my social media. Otherwise, I never had the confidence to attempt something like this."
The music of the film is done by Academy Award winning AR Rahman and to record a song with him, Tiger did feel the pressure. "When you are working with a man of that stature you do feel the pressure. During the recording he was there on a video call. In the end, I am just happy that he didn't say any thing bad (Laughs!)," he says.
Tiger says that MJ being his idol he tries to embody his style, but when it comes to his dad, actor Jackie Shroff, the latter is more into old Hindi classics. "Whenever I cross his room I can hear him play Mohammed Rafi and Gulzaar saab's songs."
