Throwback: When Sonam Kapoor credited THIS person for her dad Anil Kapoor's youthful looks!

Anil Kapoor, 67, is not only father to three grown up children, but is also a grandfather now, with Sonam Kapoor giving birth to her first child Vayu in 2022. Yet, the man seems to be only getting younger day by day, ageing like fine wine!


Sonam Kapoor recently revealed the secret behind her father Anil Kapoor's good looks! At a book launch event earlier this year in Delhi, the actress opened up about her dad's lifestyle choices that help keep him in top shape. She shared that her father is an 'extremist' who abstains from drinking, smoking, and other indulgences.

Despite Anil’s abstinence from smoking and drinking, Sonam remarked that her mother, Sunita Kapoor, is the health-conscious one who keeps him in check, especially when he feels like indulging himself. Sonam noted that her mother has been health-conscious from the very beginning, and even started the first personal training gym in Mumbai many years ago. She added that her mother has always been very healthy and health-conscious.

Sonam also got candid about her uncles Boney and Sanjay. She mentioned that her uncle, Boney Kapoor, enjoys the good life and relishes food and occasionally indulging in drinking. Sanjay Kapoor, the youngest of the three brothers, she said, falls somewhere in between, maintaining a rather moderate lifestyle.


Despite their differing habits, she emphasized that they are all good-looking and healthy men. She also drew a parallel with her grandfather, film producer Surinder Kapoor, who, besides his white hair, maintained a youthful appearance until his passing in 2011.
