Throwback: When Kajol REVEALED that she had a crush on Akshay Kumar

Kajol and Akshay have been among the most beloved actors since the 90s, they've only shared the screen once, but their on-screen chemistry has left a lasting impression. The duo shared the frame in romantic entertatiner 'Yeh Dillagi', which released in1994. While both are married to actors from Bollywood, did you know Kajol once harboured romantic feelings for Akshay Kumar.

Last year, Karan Johar had spilled the secret on a TV show and revealed that Kajol had a crush on Akshay Kumar.

Previously, on The Kapil Sharma Show, Karan had shared a story about how Kajol and he once searched for her crush, Akshay, during the premiere of the movie 'Henna' in Mumbai, which starred Rishi Kapoor and Pakistani actor Zeba Bakhtiar. Karan remembered, “All through the premiere, Kajol was looking for Akshay Kumar and I became her support. Who knows, perhaps, I too was seeking him. At the end of it, we could not get Akshay but found each other.”


On the work front, Kajol last appeared as Devyani in 'Lust Stories 2' and as Noyonika Sengupta in the web series 'The Trial'. Her upcoming projects include 'Sarzameen', 'Do Patti', and 'Maa'.
