Throwback: When Alia Bhatt revealed how her priorities have changed after a decade in the industry

Alia Bhatt, the star of movies like Darlings and Raazi, turns 31 today. The actress stands as one of the most sought-after performers in B-town, having worn many hats from a young age. Today, she embodies not only a fine actress, and successful entrepreneur, but also a devoted mother. Married to Ranbir Kapoor, Alia welcomed their daughter Raha in November 2022. With motherhood, her priorities have shifted, and the 'Highway' actress aims to strike a balance between her professional endeavors and family life.


In an interview with Femina last year, Bhatt expressed her desire to not compromise family time for work. Reflecting on her decade-long journey in cinema, she acknowledged the significant changes in her life. Previously willing to sacrifice sleep and time with family for work, she now values moments spent with her daughter and husband. Alia emphasized the importance of cherishing time with her parents, sister, and friends, which she feels she missed out on during her busy years.



Alia also said that she aims to find a balance, ensuring she is present in every aspect of her life. She admitted the struggle of resisting distractions, such as constantly checking her phone, but strives to prioritize being present in the moment. Despite occasional setbacks, she said she remains determined to maintain this equilibrium between work and personal life.


On the workfront, Alia will soon be seen in an author backed role in Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. The movie co-stars Vedang Raina of 'The Archies' fame and is produced by Apoorva Mehta, Karan Johar, and Somen Mishra. It is set to release in September this year.
