Throwback: When Alia Bhatt revealed Gal Gadot was the first one to know about her pregnancy

In a heartwarming throwback moment, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt shared a touching story about her pregnancy journey, revealing that Hollywood star Gal Gadot was one of the first people to learn about her impending motherhood. The revelation came during an interview with BBC Asian Network in 2023, shedding light on the supportive and caring nature of Gal Gadot during a crucial time in Alia's life.


Alia Bhatt, known for her roles in various genres, including action films, was asked if she had ever considered quitting an action film due to her pregnancy. Recalling the experience, she expressed her gratitude towards Gal Gadot, emphasising how the Wonder Woman star was "extremely caring" and played a significant role in making her feel protected and comfortable.During the interview, Alia revealed that discussing her pregnancy wasn't something she engaged in until well into her first trimester, so she refrained from informing many individuals. However, she did share the news with Gal Gadot, her producers, and the director, Tom Harper, as it was necessary for them to be aware. Alia expressed her appreciation for their kindness, stating that their support was so wonderful and enthusiastic that she never harboured any doubts throughout the entire experience.

Alia Bhatt reminisced about a moment during filming when Gal Gadot had shown her caring nature. She mentioned, "I remember during one of our shoots; I won't delve into the details, but the weather was scorching, and Gal was genuinely concerned about my hydration. She consistently urged me to stay adequately hydrated, emphasising the importance of drinking enough water." Alia conveyed that this incident reflected the kind of person Gal is, radiating warmth and displaying an exceptional level of care not only towards her but also towards everyone on the crew.

Months after marrying actor Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt welcomed their first child together, named Raha Kapoor, in November 2022.
