Throwback Thursday: Did you know that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt almost starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's version of 'Balika Badhu'?
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are not only the new love birds in B-town but they are also one of the most loved celebrity couples we have in the industry. Much before they started dating Alia Bhatt had confessed that she had a crush on the Kapoor lad.

Ranbir Kapoor, in a throwback interview, had revealed that Alia and he had done a photoshoot together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali when the actor was 20 years old and Alia was about 12 or even younger.
According to the interview, SLB wanted to make his version of ‘Balika Badhu’ with them so they had done a complete photoshoot. Ranbir was also all praise for the actress even then Ranbir felt Alia is a fine actor who is very unassuming about her success and talent. Plus, she is very evolved, cool and chilled out, so he is looking forward to working with her.
In yet another interview, Alia opened up about Ranbir. She reportedly said that she has gotten to know Ranbir in the last couple of months since they began work on ‘Brahmastra’. She revealed that she has interacted a lot with him on a personal level. But what she genuinely loved about him is that he’s all heart. He’s a very pure and simple person. There’s no fuss and that same simplicity translates in him as an actor as well. That’s why you can always see through him and see into his eyes. According to the actress, he is simple and not trying to emote or express.
Ranbir and Alia will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia, and Mouni Roy.
