The film which was shot in Kashmir starred Rishi Kapoor, along with Pakistani actress Zeba Bakhtiyar in the title role and Ashwini Bhave.



Moreover, the film was written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas while produced and directed by Randhir Kapoor.
