Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who is known for his diverse roles and meticulous approach to filmmaking, is also a doting father. He is a very protective father, especially to his daughter Ira Khan. The duo are very close. Aamir Khan has always been very conscious about the content his daughter consumes, which led to the point where he once barred his daughter Ira from watching one of his most celebrated films, ‘Ghajini’.

In a 2014 interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ira revealed that she had seen nearly all of her father's movies, but ‘Ghajini’ was an exception. She revealed that Aamir didn’t let her watch it. Aamir Khan, who was also present during the interview, expressed that the film was ‘too violent’, and also suggested that it might have been Ira’s mother who restricted her from watching the film. However, Ira quickly reminded him that it was actually his decision, to which Aamir admitted, "Yeah, sounds like me." Ira Khan also reflected on her father’s work and called them ‘fun’.

Released in 2008, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Ghajin’ is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film in the same name. A psychological thriller known for its intense action sequences and emotionally charged storyline, the film has managed to win the hearts of thousands of the audience. The film, which featured Aamir in a physically demanding role, was a significant departure from his other family-friendly movies. The Hindi film featured Aamir Khan, Asin, Jiah Khan, and Pradeep Rawat in the lead roles.


On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’.
